Like many of our generation we met on an app. Scouts honor, it was a classy one. Christian came across Jeremy's photo and thought he was cute, with a joyful and sincere smile. He decided to reach out with the oh-so-original: "Hey there, how are you?" Jeremy, finding Christian's photo exciting and daring by rappelling down the side of a Philly skyscraper, replied with the oh-so-coy "Hi!" A few weeks later on a rainy-turned-snowy night in February, we met for our first date: dinner at Harvest and tickets to Deadpool. Being it was a Tuesday night, we enjoyed a plate or two of tacos and went next door to the cinema. We assumed that purchasing tickets in advance would not be necessary. We were wrong - the theater was sold out! And Jeremy had brought an umbrella that he thought belonged to his friend Mega and wanted to return it (spoiler alert: it wasn't hers). They decided to go to another theater to see the movie. One date turned to two dates which turned into lots of dates. Fast forward four years to Independence Day 2020 in Cape May, New Jersey. They had a fun day walking around the beach town and spending time with some of Christian's family. Christian took Jeremy for a walk on the beach at sunset to enjoy ocean air and perfect weather. Chris led Jeremy a little ways inland, got down on one knee, and... dropped the ring in the sand (luckily Jeremy saw where it went so it was not lost).
