Great trails, biking, and water activities.

Lake Macbride State Park

This is our neighborhood and boast some of our favorite places. Many fun local shops: outdoor store, antiques, home goods, clothing, fantastic museum, a brewery, coffee shop, and our favorite breakfast place Lucky's on 16th.

Czech Village

Another fun neighborhood in Cedar Rapids. The African History Museum is also in this neighborhood and is fantastic. Our favorite vinyl store is in this neighborhood as well as our favorite place to get a margarita and tacos.

NewBo City Market

A classic staple of Iowa City. The pedestrian mall full of unique shops and art.

Pedestrian Mall

This is a fun 20 min hike up to the top of Mt. Trashmore! We got engaged here and it has beautiful Cedar Rapids views.

Mount Trashmore Hiking and Flow Trails

This trail runs from Solon all the way through Cedar Rapids and further north to Cedar Falls. The trail is great for bike riding and stopping at Dan and Debbie's Ice Cream shop in Ely, IA.
