*Make a reservation at all of these options* *You can walk or scooter down the Beltline to all of these options* Two Urban Licks: Wood-fired cuisine served on the Beltline with cozy vibes and great drinks! The Salmon Chips appetizer is a must! (make a reservation) Del Bar: Middle Eastern shareable plates in a lively restaurant in Inman Park. One of our absolute favorites! We've heard they also have a great brunch. Bully Boy: Asian-flared shareables and sushi served in a plant-filled atmosphere. (make a reservation)
*You can walk or scooter down the Beltline to all of the below options* Superica at Krog Street Market: Mexican food with fun vibes - an ATL staple! Fritti: Great neapolitan-style pizza served in an indoor/outdoor restaurant in the heart of Inman Park. Bantam Pub: Neighborhood pub serving great causal food with a large patio space. New Realm: Casual brewery on the Beltline with great elevated bar food. Large indoor and outdoor areas and great views of the city and Beltline. The Local: Best wings in town, served in a casual dive bar across the street from the hotel! Parker loves the Korean Buffalo wings, and Alyssa loves the Sun Dried Tomato dry rub.
If you are looking for a nice place to go for a walk in the morning, you can walk the Beltline to get to Piedmont Park (~1 mile walk). This park is the focal point of Midtown and has several amazing skyline views of the city. There is also the smaller Old Fourth Ward park closer to the hotel near Ponce City Market.
If you are looking to grab a quick lunch or do some shopping head over to Ponce City Market (PCM). Ponce City Market is a beautifully converted historic Sears building that is now home to ~30 food vendors and many fun shops. You can hop into PCM's 2nd floor directly from the Beltline trail. Alyssa's favorite lunch spot is Botiwala (Indian) and Parker loves El Super Pan (sandwiches like Cubans and Shrimp Al Ajillo).
The Carter Center in Freedom Park puts on a farmers market Saturday mornings from 8:30am-12pm. That is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich!
Similar to Ponce City Market, Krog Street Market is a renovated food hall that sits on the Beltline ~1.5 miles south of the hotel. While we haven't had a bad thing to eat in this food hall, our favorite stalls here are Fred's Meat and Bread for a philly cheesesteak (prepare to be stuffed) and the dumplings from Gu's Dumplings.
Lady Bird: Summer camp themed beer garden/bar right on the Beltline. Great people watching. New Realm: Large brewery on the Beltline with several different hangout places. Clermont Hotel Rooftop: Head to the rooftop at the hotel for some awesome views of the city! Park Tavern: A casual bar in the corner of Piedmont Park. Buena Vita: Great margaritas on the beltline! VinoTeca: Cute wine bar/shop in Inman Park. Burles Bar: Nice cocktails in a plant shop! Right off the Beltline and across from New Realm Brewery. Dads: Casual cocktail bar themed around 80's-90's Dads. Brewdog: If you head down to Krog Street Market or Ladybird, Brew Dog is another large brewery right around the corner.
