The ceremony begins at 3:30pm on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. Please arrive to the venue between 2:30pm and 3pm. Arriving by 3pm will ensure you can get parked, say your hello's, and be transported by trolley to the ceremony site.
Yes! Parking is available at the Currituck Club.
The wedding and reception will both be outdoors.
We love your children, but due to venue space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day. Childcare will be available off-site during the wedding ceremony and reception. Please reach out to Heather Reinecke (hreinecke70@gmail.com or 804-647-5913) with any questions regarding childcare.
We request our guest dress in Cocktail Attire - cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. As we will be on the golf course for the wedding ceremony, we recommend you do not wear high or thin heels! We also recommend you bring a jacket or nice sweater to wear with your outfit, as the wedding and reception are outdoors and the weather in the Outer Banks in early November typically ranges between 50 and 60 degrees, plus the possibility of wind.
No color is off-limits for the wedding (other than white, of course)! Feel free to wear whatever color you feel the most comfortable in. If you need some guidance, colors that will match the wedding color scheme are purple, gray, black, and sage green! Bridesmaids will be wearing dusty-lilac colored dresses.
Although the weather can change rapidly at the beach, the temperatures in early November are typically between the 50s and 60s. Wind is also a very big possibility, as we will be outside on the Sound!
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by food stations with several types of cuisine to choose from!

Absolutely! Check out the "Things To Do" section on this website to see some recommendations for food, drinks, shopping, and landmarks while you are in the Outer Banks!
We would love to have each of you engaged in the ceremony, so we request that you do not take photos or be on your phones during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer taking photos and will be happy to share these photos after the wedding!
Please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the reception! There will be a professional photographer taking photos, as well as a photo booth available!
