A Lifetime

Jeffrey and I met in the most perfect season of the year the FALL! September 15, 2010 to be exact. Our story is unique because we don't have the typical high school reach for the stars over the fence type of love story. We would have to thank Nikita who stood as the middle man. Jeffery and Nikita invited me out to a night of playing pool. I hesitated to join them, due to the fact, I was a homebody and my hair wasn't done on that particular day. While at the pool hall Jeffrey attempted to make his move by hitting an eight ball. His pickup line was kind of weird but funny, clever and none the least shady. He introduced his love language by asking "Do you need a man to get my feet, nails, and hair done? Here take my number" The shade was real. Remember my hair wasn't done that night!! We begin to have conversations and dates founding that we had a lot in common. Over the years we became good friends not missing a beat in each other's life. At times we would catch up and give each other advise. Our friendship meant more than anything in the world and slowly God allowed that to stand for a beautiful relationship. On February 14th, 2017, I said YES! Jeffrey proposed to me in front of his daughters Jaylah and Caleigha, whom I adore and love. They all proposed and asked me to stay a LIFETIME! Best friends that God bless to FALL IN LOVE and to start a NEW BEGINNING!

A JOURNEY

It started from being myself , as a young entrepreneur subconsciously developing who I would later consciously become for my future.Learning what’s for me and what’s not, being on tour to meeting ,learning and disassociating myself with what didn’t fit my character a diamond in the rough was my soon to be sister Nikita. Nikita was a light in a dark place for me always there and always doing the opposite of what I was surrounded with at the time. Showing kindness of her heart without expecting anything. surrounding me with people who would love and care for me when she wasn’t around.I must take the time to thank her for one thing in particular that she has blessed me with over all these years. Thank you for introducing me to your nappy headed little big sister, not that she’s nappy headed often but what I mean is thank you for that one boring night when I made the decision to invite you to shoot pool knowing you couldn’t and you bringing your loving Trey songs (“It’s Mr steal Yo girl” of a sister) when technically on a date with someone else. Which showed me that I wasn’t being honest with myself by even entertaining the date because your sister would immediately steal every ounce of interest I had. From that “you need someone to get your hair and nails done” forward to now I’ve never loved anyone like I love the woman you introduced me to that night and in a short time I will be able to call her my wife. Being there to give me honest sound and maybe sometimes ulterior motivated advice even when I was in a relationship with someone else to raising mine and someone else’s children and claiming them as your own does sum up the ways our life has changed for the better. You’ve shown me far more passion and emotion than I ever knew possible, your dedication and commitment are unmeasurable and to this day I am more than grateful. Thank you for your patience thank you for your love and thank you for never giving up on us even when that seemed like the only choice.

For all the days along the way
