Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
Come by the old homestead where the bride grew up for light appetizers and cocktails. We recommend staying at The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs or the infamous Historic Union Hotel. La Grande (15 minutes away) will offer a more comprehensive selection of hotels ranging from a standard Best Western to a quaint boutique hotel: The Landing.

Welcome to the Oregon Trail, our themed party for the weekend! We will be playing a life-size version of the classic computer game. Come ready to select your wagon party and advance your way through the bars of Joseph without dying from one of the many hazards along the way. This journey will commence at the Wallowa Lake Lodge, where you can grab dinner at the on-site restaurant or bring food to enjoy on the back lawn. Here we will review the game rules, establish the kinds of people on board, select wagon leaders, and pick your wagon party. The wagons will depart the lodge around 8:30 pm. (pending what your wagon decides to spend their money on....) We'll have onsite local babysitters to tend to awake or sleeping children via individual monitors.
12:00 pm
Black-Tie Optional: Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required.
The official ceremony will occur in the park, followed by lunch and lawn games.
