We’re getting married!

In the spirit of modern-day romance, our love story began with a swipe right back in early 2016. Fate, or perhaps a meticulously crafted profile, intervened on a dating app, setting the stage for our journey together. Our first date? An evening stroll through the picturesque Stanford campus, igniting a connection that deepened over time. Our adventures extended far beyond the confines of Stanford's serene surroundings. From Hawaii to South Korea, Hong Kong to France, Switzerland, Peru, and Argentina, each trip became a chapter in our evolving story. These experiences weren't merely about sightseeing; they were about forging memories and growing together. Meanwhile, our careers thrived. Andre, a recent Stanford PhD graduate (2017!), emerged as a startup founder, co-founding several ventures before finding his place at Salesforce and eventually leading his own innovative venture, ArteraAI. Parisa flourished at UCSC, developing tools and resources that help scientists better understand human health. Yet, love isn't immune to life's challenges. When the COVID storm hit, we found ourselves weathering it together – quite literally. Settling into our cozy 700 square foot apartment, social distancing took on new significance - surviving close quarters and embarking on sourdough starter experiments together. Through thick and thin, we grew even more resilient. Fast forward to today – after eight incredible years of shared dreams, laughter-filled adventures, and mastering the art of personal space in our tiny abode, we're ready to embark on our greatest adventure yet: forever.
