We’re getting married!

Kevin and I went to high school together and we both were interested in each other we just never had the courage to say anything. We both needed a date to prom so a mutual friend decided to set us up. A group of our friends got together to go bowling so we could get to know each other better. We immediately hit it off! We started to spend more and more time together until we were basically a package deal wherever we went. We dated for 5 years before he proposed. Our amazing adventure just got even more exciting!

Kevin mentioned that he wanted to take me out for a fancy dinner date to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. I picked out a dress and spent hours doing my hair and make up. We were just about to leave the house so I went to grab my purse from the kitchen. Thats when I heard Kevin say “you know what would make that dress look a lot prettier?” I replied “whats that babe?” He pulled out the ring and said “this!” As I turned around I was so shocked that I didn’t even understand what was happening. I immediately burst into tears as i watched him get on one knee and ask me to marry him. I of course said yes.. well actually I said “OH MY GOD YES!” We cannot wait to get married and spend the rest our lives together.
