We have a strict guest list. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. | Tenemos una lista de invitados limitada. Nuestra boda se puede atender solo con confirmación dentro del tiempo indicado y solamente podremos acomodar a aquellos listados en la invitación.

What is the best way to get around? | Cuál es el mejor medio de transporte en Costa Rica?

Answer

We highly recommend you hire a car if you are planning a bit of an adventure in and around your trip to Costa Rica. We use the usual price comparison sites. A 4x4 is not essential, as December is the dry season. If you can though, do try to hire something with a little ground clearance, especially if you intend on visiting some of the more remote locations. If you don’t want to hire a car, the best way to get to beaches or the rainforest is by booking a tour that includes a coach service and tour guide. If you are adventurous, there are well established bus routes that will require some prior study and lots of patience! While in San Jose you can use Ubers or taxis to get around the city. Les recomendamos alquilar un carro para tener mayor facilidad de transporte estando en Costa Rica y así tengan la oportunidad de visitar diferentes playas y zonas más remotas del país. Diciembre es la época seca por lo que no es necesario tener un 4x4 pero recomendamos alquilar un carro alto para no tener dificultad con algunas calles/carreteras que sean de lastre. Si prefieren no manejar, lo más recomendable para visitar playas y Parques Nacionales es mediante un tour donde se les ofrezca transporte. Si quieren ser más aventurosos, hay buses que se pueden tomar pero se necesita tener un poco más de paciencia y estudiar bien las rutas! En San José, hay taxis y ubers disponibles para movilizarse.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. | A pesar de que nos encantan los niños, queremos que esta sea una noche de fiesta donde todos puedan disfrutar sin preocupaciones (incluidos los padres), por lo que agradecemos que puedan hacer planes con tiempo para que sus pequeñines queden en casa.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony? | Habrá transporte de los hoteles hacia el lugar de la ceremonia?

Answer

There is no transportation booked but we will provide guests with a taxi number from which they can book a taxi. Ubers are also available in the city. | No hay un transporte reservado pero les indicaremos números de taxi para que puedan reservar transporte y además se puede contar con el servicio de Uber.
