Question

Vaccination?

Answer

Yes! For the safety of all, attendees must be vaccinated. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is this really an adults-only evening and kids should stay home?

Answer

Yes, so that we can focus on this sacred ritual and you can have a night off to relax. We send our love to your young ones and kindly request they stay at home for this event. We recommend Kids Park West, a drop-in daycare, where Warren's own daughter Gaby loved to play when she was a kid. We are having a casual Newlyweds' Picnic on Sunday May 22, and kids are very welcome to join us for that. https://www.kidspark.com/san-jose-west

Question

What about masks?

Answer

Masks are optional. Guests who would like added protection are invited to wear a mask, which will be the signal to others to be especially careful to maintain social distancing around those guests.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We recommend spring flare with semi-formal wedding attire. No stress! Warren is wearing pajamas (don't tell Pamela). 'Tis time to get dressed up (i.e., better than the presentable top half worn over sweatpants for video conferences). Show up in some nice duds, dudes! Ham it up. Don a dashing splash of color. Flowers are the theme of the day. Call Warren if you need fashion advice! ;-)

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is the only gift we desire.

Question

May I bring my adorable pet to the party?

Answer

As much as we love furry friends, please do not bring them to the event. We are sending our own animal friends away for the event and want the simplicity of a pet-free environment. We'd like to minimize distraction as we focus on our special day.

Question

What's the weather report?

Answer

Though we have not yet mastered weather control, our corner of San Jose / Los Gatos is near the Sierra Azul Mountains, in a residential area. The sunset is at 8:20 pm in May, and the weather will likely boast a comfortable California high of 75, with a low of 53 in the nights and early mornings. April showers bring May flowers.

Question

Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be held entirely outdoors. Aside from the opportunity to share the beauty of all the planting we've been doing, and the orchard Warren has carefully cultivated, the garden setting allows lots of space to spread out. Wearers of heels should take note: walking surfaces will be cement, dirt, lawn, and gravel.

Question

What's this about a Newlyweds' Picnic Sunday?

Answer

Yesiree. We're having a casual afternoon at the park on Sunday May 22nd, 1pm-4pm, for our out-of-towners or anyone else who'd like to get together. We know we might not get enough time to chat with each of you at the big event, so we hope this will remedy that! Details to come.
