Our story really began in summer of 2017. I began working for his family pet store. I'd known William for many years, as I was a frequent customer and we had mutual friends. We never got to know each other until later. We hit it off quickly. I know the exact moment I realized that I wanted to be with Billy, but I'll save that to share on our wedding day! We quickly bonded over a deep love for animals and jokes that shouldn't be as funny as they are. In September 2018, we closed on a home and have been building our life and little zoo ever since. Our relationship is built on a deep admiration and care for each other, and supporting each other through everything that comes our way. William supports my love of the arts and theatre, helping me through long rehearsal processes and attending as many performances as he can. We constantly teach each other more about our interests and passions, and we get to learn and grow together. Since postponing our wedding a few times due to Covid-19, our lives have changed in so many ways; the biggest change being the addition of our beautiful son, Bennett Michael, born on 8/23/21. He'll be with us at the wedding as Billy's best man and we can't wait to include him in this day! The proposal: William proposed on October 25, 2019 after opening night of The Rocky Horror Show at Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre. He got up on stage in front of about 200 people and asked me to marry him, and there was not one ounce of doubt in my mind. Both of our families and most of our closest friends were there to see it! Our vision for our wedding: A simple day surrounded by the ones we love. No showers, no bachelor/bachelorette ordeals, no excessive budgets. Just us, our closest family and friends, and a beautiful day where we can share our love with the ones who keep us grounded. We believe the people closest to us deserve a day of love and celebration as much as we do, and we're honored to plan this as a way to share that.
