Question

Is this a full weekend event?

Answer

It is! We'd love for you to stay with us Friday night through Sunday morning, but you are also welcome to book a cabin for Saturday night only. If you do not need accommodations at Migis, and/or are attending just Saturday's events, that's great too!

Question

How do I book a cottage at Migis?

Answer

Call or email Migis and identify that you are with the Masin/Graziano wedding and when you plan to arrive and depart. Cottages offer heating/cooling, fireplaces, private bedrooms and bathrooms, decks and living spaces. There are also lodge rooms that are similar to typical hotel rooms. If you have any special requests, please let them know when you book! No payment or deposit is due ahead of time. The rate for two nights is $119 per person, per night plus tax (9%) and service charge (18%) and the rate for one night is $128 per person plus tax and service charge. Prices include accommodations, use of the facilities, and all meals are covered. Check-in is at 4 PM on Friday. Check-out is at 11 AM on Sunday, Oct 16th. Guests are welcome to come earlier than 4 PM on Friday, your cottage just may not be ready yet.

Question

Important Payment Note:

Answer

In keeping with a very long standing tradition, Migis Lodge only accepts payments in the form of CASH or CHECK. Sorry, no credit cards! There is an ATM 4 minutes away at the Hill Top Mini Mart in Raymond, Maine. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding. We truly appreciate you traveling to stay with us for our special weekend!

Question

When is check-in and check-out at Migis?

Answer

For guests arriving on Friday, check-in begins at 4pm (but you are welcome to come enjoy the property earlier, your cabin just might not be ready yet). For guests arriving Saturday, you can check-in anytime. Check out for all guests is Sunday at 11am.

Question

What should I wear to all the events?

Answer

For Friday's welcome dinner, the attire is Autumn-esque dressy/casual. Think flannel button downs and slacks for men and sweater dresses and boots for women. Bring a jacket for the bonfire afterwards (or you can head back to your cabin to change). Our wedding is semi-formal attire (dresses and jumpsuits for women, suits and ties for men). The ceremony will take place on grass, so stilettos may not be the best choice. We suggest an extra layer for the ceremony and cocktail hour in case it's a chilly afternoon. For the rest of the weekend, we recommend bringing comfortable clothes for spending time in the woods. The temperature in mid-October can vary, so layers are a good idea (so is a jacket). Bring shoes that you can walk around grass/trails and water shoes if you plan on enjoying lake activities. And don't forget activewear if you plan to take part in our Saturday afternoon group activity (or pickleball or tennis) and a bathing suit for the polar plunge on Sunday!

Question

What activities are there if I'm staying at Migis?

Answer

The property has so much to offer and is located on a serene spot on Sebago Lake. For activities there are kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, small motorboats, Sunfish sailboats, fishing, tennis courts, pickleball, disc golf, an outdoor gym, ping pong tables, as well as a sauna and multiple spots along the water's edge with lounge chairs. There are also numerous walking and hiking trails nearby to see some Maine foliage. Guest rooms include wood burning fireplaces for a cozy day indoors. We recommend checking out their website https://www.migis.com/ for more details!

Question

What about meals?

Answer

All meals will be provided for those staying at Migis Lodge. Options for various dietary needs will be available (vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free). If you'd like to bring your own snacks and beverages, you can find local grocery stores along route 302, including Hannaford, Shaw's, Walmart and other convenient stops. Feel free to call Migis Lodge, Pam or Luke if you have more questions related to food or dietary needs.

Question

What if I don't stay at Migis?

Answer

We highly encourage you to stay at the resort for the weekend, but there are also a few hotels nearby. However, a shuttle will not be provided. Whether or not you stay on the property, please join us on Friday night for the welcome bonfire and feel free to spend the day on the lake Saturday before the wedding festivities begin.

Question

What about transportation?

Answer

Once you arrive at Migis Lodge, there's no need to travel anywhere for wedding-related events! There's plenty of parking on-site or you can uber from Portland (45 min drive, ~$50 each way).

Question

Can I attend the bonfire if I'm not staying at Migis?

Answer

Heck yes! Just let us know that when you RSVP

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, and Migis Lodge is a fun place for all ages. If you want to bring your children for the weekend, please arrange childcare so that you can enjoy the night. The ceremony and reception are both 5+.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1st. Because this is a "destination-ish" wedding, and we'll be assigning cottages to guests, we'll need a little bit of extra time to plan the weekend.

Question

COVID-19 Update

Answer

The health of our loved ones is of the utmost importance to us. We ask that everyone be vaccinated and boosted who is attending our wedding so we can party all night safely together.
