Guests can register digitally online, via this site, or by physically mailing their RSVP card back to us. RSVPs are requested no later than September 6, 2024. Unfortunately, guests who RSVP after this date will need to bring their own dinner and chair :)
We recognize many of our family and friends have kiddos, so yes, kids are welcome! We will NOT however have any childcare options provided and due to space constraints inside the venue, we will have limited activities for them -- but there will be plenty of room on the dance floor. If the weather cooperates, which we hope it does, there will also be plenty of space for hanging out and running around outdoors.
If your invitation said "and Guest", then yes! Due to capacity reasons, if your invitation did not, we'd kindly prefer it was just you. As much as we'd like to have you all, there is a guest limit at the venue.
Please see the Travel page for additional details regarding lodging and wedding room blocks.
Rapid City Regional Airport is going to be the largest airport nearby. It is approximately an hour from Spearfish, but see the Travel page for additional details.
Yes, both events will take place at the Barn at Aspen Acres in Spearfish. It is anticipated that the ceremony will be outdoors. Guests are encouraged to wear/bring shoes for walking on grass and sunglasses (as we are hopeful for a warm, beautiful day).
Please enjoy a night out in your Sunday best or semi-formal attire (jeans and boots are welcome as well)! We want you to be comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. We highly suggest you bring your dancing shoes!
The ceremony time is yet to be determined, likely being between 4-4:30pm. Please plan to arrive 20-30 minute prior to the start time. Once the ceremony starts, guests will be asked to watch from afar.
Yes, onsite parking is available, including overnight parking free of charge. Guests who choose to leave their vehicle overnight must ensure it is picked up from the venue property by 9am Saturday morning.
We are still determining if we will be having a wedding registry since we have everything we need in our established home. If you would like to give a gift, please consider a monetary gift to assist with our honeymoon fund.
We love photos! However, we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony; we'd like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we welcome and encourage photos!
