After 9+ years...we are finally tying the knot!

From the moment we met at Trinity Academy, we knew there was something special between us—sparking in the most unexpected of places, Spanish class. What started with stolen glances and shy smiles quickly blossomed into late-night texts and countless after-school hangouts. Our love story officially began when we started dating outside of Jose Peppers, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. Since 2015, we’ve shared so many incredible moments together. We’ve danced the nights away at prom and homecoming, creating unforgettable memories in our favorite outfits. We’ve been each other’s shotgun riders, jamming out to our favorite music on countless drives, and even navigated the fun—and chaos—of wisdom teeth removal together. From high school graduation to college graduation and job hunting together post-grad, we’ve been there for one another through it all. We’ve celebrated holidays together, from cozy family gatherings at Christmas to festive Fourth of July barbecues. Birthdays have become special milestones filled with surprises, laughter, and love, making each year even more memorable. We’ve also supported each other through significant life events, like baptisms, graduations, and personal achievements, which have only strengthened our bond. One of Riley’s favorite things about Paige is her compassion and loyalty for others. Her empathy and genuine love for her family and his alike deeply resonates with him. On the other hand, Paige admires Riley's intellect and vast knowledge; his ability to engage in meaningful conversations and his kindness toward everyone he meets make her heart swell. Throughout these past nine years, we’ve always known it was forever. Every moment, every challenge, and every joy has shaped us into who we are today. We wouldn’t be here without the unwavering support of our friends and family, who have rooted for us every step of the way. Their love and encouragement have been invaluable as we’ve built this beautiful journey together. Attending Wichita State University allowed us to continue our journey, navigating classes, making lifelong friends, and creating cherished memories. Along the way, we faced our share of challenges, including grief and loss. These experiences taught us the true meaning of love and resilience, as we leaned on each other and God during difficult times. Keeping God at the center of our relationship has been essential for us. We’ve leaned on Him through every high and low, trusting in His guidance and finding strength in our faith. This foundation has not only strengthened our bond but has also helped us grow as individuals. One of our favorite places has always been the Great Plains Nature Center. We went on many dates there in our early stages of dating. It was there, surrounded by the beauty of nature, that Riley proposed in a moment that felt truly perfect and so intimate. As we stood amidst the tranquility of the soon to be special spot, Paige said “yes” to forever. Afterward, we were off to an engagement party filled with our beloved friends and family, celebrating our love and the journey ahead. As we prepare to embark on this new adventure, we can’t wait to celebrate our love and all the memories yet to come! Here’s to many more years of loving one another and growing old together.
