Ferries and Driving

Anacortes is going to be your destination before boarding the ferry. Once there, you have 2 options: 1) Purchase a round-trip ticket to Friday Harbor, which is the only ferry terminal on San Juan Island. Rates vary depending on vehicle size and # of passengers, but expect anywhere between $45-150 round-trip. or 2) Park your car at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal and board the ferry as a walk-on passenger ($7-15). Read more here: https://www.visitsanjuans.com/ferry-walk-ons-terminal-parking After disembarking the ferry, Roche Harbor is a short, 20-minute drive through rural farmland and forests. Be sure to make reservations and show up at least 60-75 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time as sometimes the lines can get full. For those catching a flight on Sunday, we suggest leaving the island earlier than necessary and if you have a few hours to kill, you can always take some time to explore downtown Seattle! Several companies offer regularly scheduled flights from all over the Northwest to Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor. - Kenmore Air is the only one to fly regularly scheduled services from Seattle directly to the resort (via floatplane), and also flies into Friday Harbor. - San Juan Airlines flies from Anacortes to the Roche Harbor airfield and Friday Harbor, as does NW Sky Ferry. All of the scheduled-flight airlines operate charters into Roche Harbor and/or Friday Harbor. Boat

Take a ride on a high-speed catamaran for a quick and easy ferry ride to the Island. You’ll board the Victoria Clipper at Pier 69 in downtown Seattle and start your 3.5-hour scenic journey via Deception Pass to Friday Harbor. Click the link below for the Victoria Clipper. Once you arrive in town, Shuttles and taxis run throughout the day from Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor (reference the "Shuttle" section).

Shuttle from Sea-Tac International Airport: Bellair Shuttle offers multiple runs every day of the week, with pick-up/drop-off in Sea-Tac or downtown Seattle to the Anacortes ferry terminal, or southbound for your return home. Rates are $50-65 each way, plus the $7-15 ferry fare as a walk-on passenger. Lodging is available on-site at the venue. Roche Harbor has set aside a room block for the night BEFORE the wedding (Fri., 10/14), and the night OF the wedding (Sat., 10/15).
