Mitchell and Kristina met at Tampa General Hospital, but it wasn't until Kristina bumped into Mitchell when she was shopping with her mother in Hyde Park that the true sparks flew. Mitchell was painting a wedding platter at "Color Me Mine", which completely wooed Kristina. Kristina's brothers lovingly coined Mitchell as "Pottery Boy", and the rest is history.

Mitchell surprised Kristina with a weekend getaway at The Vinoy in St. Petersburg, FL with their close friends and family around.
