Brandon and Ariel met in January of 2017 on a dating app (We don't think we have ever told this to anyone!). They hit it off almost instantly. Most days were spent dining at some of their favorite restaurants. After about a month of dating Brandon told Ariel he would be flying back "home". This came as a surprise to Ariel because she had no idea he didn't live in the city. (Ariel likes to think Brandon didn't tell her simply because he didn't want the friendship to come to an end.) Brandon returned to Florida and they continued to communicate through the distance.

After almost a year of a solid friendship established, Brandon made it "official"! This would be the beginning of something very special. Dating long distant came with its challenges, but Ariel and Brandon were determined to make it work. Brandon moved back to Memphis in September of 2018, and the rest is history!
