San Juan Teotihuacán
A quick day trip from Mexico City to see the pyramids of Mesoamerica. There are English speaking guides in the parking lot - highly recommend hiring to walk you through the complex! There is also a great restaurant in a cave when leaving the main parking lot. Pablo recommends the ant egg tacos...Tori does not.
Coyoacán
Spend the afternoon walking the cobblestone streets and park in Coyoacan. The Museo de Frida Kahlo is here as well as art galleries and an artisan market. There is also delicious ice cream!
Historic center of Mexico City
Visit the Templo Mayor (Aztec Temple), Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City, and Zocalo all within walking distance of one another. Have lunch nearby at Azulismo.
Tepoztlán
A short drive from Cuernavaca...Teptoztlan is known as a 'Pueblo Magico' and is a great day trip for ice cream, markets, and hiking.
Ballet Folklórico de México
Mexican folklore ensemble that dances in costumes that reflect the traditional culture of Mexico. The ensemble performs three times weekly at the Palace of Fine Arts.
