You know how they say, "when you aren't looking, you'll find it"? Well, that wasn't *exactly* true for Julie & Andrew. Just as she was about to quit the dating apps, Julie saw a really thoughtful comment come through Hinge that sparked her interest. Deciding to swipe right herself on January 12th, 2021, she and Andrew got to talking, which quickly turned into long, deep conversations over text. A couple of weeks after, Andrew finally agreed to go on a date (to Andrew's defense, it was COVID). They met on March 7, 2021 at Artesano in Manayunk, a bistro full of gorgeous, vibrant vegetation and charm. They sat and sipped coffee for over 4 hours, where they shared laughs, personal stories, and chatted about their respective weddings. It felt that natural and easy. Within a few weeks time, Julie invited herself over to Andrew's to help Andrew unpack some untouched boxes from having moved in a mere 6 months prior. But rather than doing as she planned, they plopped down on the couch and chatted for 11 hours, with a quick Passover meal in between. After that "date", they knew there was something there. Fast forward another few weeks to May 1, 2021 when they were giddy, buzzed, and enjoying their time at the beloved Bourbon and Branch in Northern Liberties. Andrew went to the bathroom and Julie quickly texted a friend, "I think I'm going to marry Andrew". The rest is nearly history.
