Dress your best & to impress! Review the itinerary tab for each event’s attire recommendations. While our wedding ceremony takes place on the Salamander’s Grand Lawn, our reception will be tented on solid ground flooring for those wanting to wear heels.
Check out the many activities The Salamander has to offer, whether you're looking for a spa treatment, to hang by the pool, play a round of tennis, visit a winery, or go clay shooting. For those making it a long weekend, I highly recommend a visit to Stone Tower Winery or exploring the many shops on Washington Street!
Middleburg’s shops along Washington Street offer a wide range of fashions, home décor, local markets and wine. Jen's Picks: Creme de la Creme & The Lucky Knot Connor's Pick: English Country Classic

The Salamander Resort offers an Audi fleet and the team will drive you anywhere within 5 miles of the resort. The town of Middleburg is also very walkable! Otherwise, The Salamander's Concierge team can arrange transportation for the day such as Cork and Keg Tours for those hoping to visit a few wineries outside of the 5 mile radius. If you’re curious about Lyft or Uber, they are not 100% readily available so if you do choose to go this route, you’ll want to search for a ride well in advance before you need it. I highly recommend renting a car for those guests staying offsite and outside of Middleburg, VA.
Overnight Valet Parking is available for all hotel guests at $32 per night. Daily Valet Parking is available at $10. Complimentary self-parking is available.
