Let's Get Hitched!

It all started with neither of us even searching for a relationship. We met via social media and just instantly clicked (literally). We had many mutual friends and just talked from when the sun went up to going down. Eventually we went on our first ever date (on saint Patrick’s day) at a nature walk and the connection just blossomed from there. We both bonded over our mutual interests in Marvel comics, our need to find adventure, & our love for music. Lets face it, Owen was a total gentlemen who surprised me with my favorite coffee on the first date & was wearing Groot socks. I knew he was a total catch & nerd in disguise. We held hands and laughed. We had an older couple stop us along the walk complimenting us on "how cute we are.” As the day went on we knew we just truly enjoyed each others company that we ventured to a Paddy’s Pub after to celebrate with Owen's friends. The rest was history. We’ve had many art painting dates, hiking adventures, and Breakfast for dinner. We know we found our person. Our adventure partner. Our forever. And it is our personal favorite fairytale. We wouldn’t want it any other way.

So the Hitt's rented a huge Airbnb in Orlando with about 15 guests for their Dreamers Academy Retreat. We agreed that we wanted to help them out with anything they needed and that it would also be a fun getaway for us both. A total win-win for everyone. One night during the retreat, everyone got dressed up in fancy attire & wanted to have a karaoke night. We laughed, took photos & sang our hearts out. Once I was on stage belting out Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus, I look over & Owen pulls a ring out of his top hat that he was wearing & got down on one knee. I was in total shock. It was honestly the easiest "yes" ever. We kissed & everyone in the room was cheering. I felt so much love and butterflies in that moment. It's something I'll never forget. #NeverInMyWildestDreams
