We went to the same high school and college but never talked! Our sisters had been friends since elementary school, and even on the same soccer team so we'd been crossing paths our entire lives. It ended up taking a dating app, after all that time, to finally bring us all the way together. A few weeks later, on February 24, 2018, we went on our first date (of course we went bowling as part of it), and the rest is history!

We were on vacation in Green Lake, Wisconsin with the Hufnagel family. We decided to go out for breakfast on our last full day there, just the two of us. After breakfast, Zach suggested a walk in a beautiful nearby park, so that's what we did! We went over to a beautiful bridge covered with flowers, and that's where Zach dropped down on one knee and popped the question! Lots of tears were shed, and we were able to celebrate the entire day. Definitely the best ending to a vacation EVER! We got engaged on July 23, 2021 and get to tie the knot exactly one year later on July 23, 2022!
