Question

The venue is an hour away, how will I get to and from safely?

Answer

Short answer: Buses! Detail: We will have buses that will bring guest to and from The Canopy in Downtown Minneapolis. Not staying in the city? No problem. There is parking at the Canopy and at the Mill City Parking Garage you can access before hopping on the bus.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Short Answer: No. Details: We love kids, especially yours; however, the vibe isn't right for kids. We want this to be a fun night for YOU. Book your babysitter, get fancy and come party!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Short Answer: Yes! Details: Part of the fun of the evening will be a delicious, locally and sustainably sourced, family style dinner. Our catering team is excellent and will make sure you are taken care of. Please note allergies and dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Are you taking any COVID precautions?

Answer

Short Answer: Yes. Details: We waited two years (post engagement... 10 overall) to have this celebration, because of the pandemic. We ask, and expect that all guests are vaccinated to keep a safe space for everyone. Additionally, if you are not feeling well, please don't put others at risk. You are important to us, and so are our other guests. As much as we want all of you around us on this day, we don't want to risk anyone's health. Please do not come if you are sick.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Short answer: No idea. Long answer: In the past five years the weather on November 5th has been everything from 65 and sunny to 32 and snowy. We highly recommend layers and will have blankets for you at the venue. We're hoping the dancing and various beverages will help warm you up too.
