Ciara and Matt started dating in their senior year at Boston Latin School. It all began when Matt asked Ciara an important question: "Will you go to prom with me?" After that, they were together for all of the important moments. Though they attended different colleges, they became very familiar with the Peter Pan bus service between UConn and UMass Amherst during their freshman year and later took turns driving to each other for weekend visits. They always found a way to make it work and looked forward to whatever time they could carve out for each other. Over the last ten years they have truly grown up together, and become a part of each other's families.

They got engaged at Langone Park in the North End. It was the same place where their first "after-school coffee date" happened in April 2014. They were early for Matt's birthday dinner plans in October 2022, and stopped back by the park and went to the same spot where they had sat almost nine years before. When they got there Matt asked another important question: "Will you marry me?" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
