Jen and Alex originate from opposite ends of California, SoCal and NorCal respectively. They met and fell in love in San Francisco where Jen was completing her graduate studies and Alex had recently moved for work. Their first date was in a tasting room in San Francisco (JAX vineyards). Over a glass of wine (or two), they bonded over their shared love of travel, art and nature. It was clear from Day 1 that the chemistry between them was undeniable.

Alex cunningly used Jen’s birthday as an excuse to whisk her away to Calistoga for a wine tasting at the actual JAX vineyard. Little did she know that this would be more than just a birthday celebration… Underneath the warm Napa sky and surrounded by the picturesque vineyards, Alex recounted their relationship together, dropped to one knee, and presented Jen with a radiant ring that sparkled underneath the afternoon sun. The joy and surprise radiated from Jen's face as she happily accepted his heartfelt proposal.
