Once upon a time, in central PA, Liv's childhood was filled with love and laughter, alongside her sisters Emily and Adeline, and their cherished schnauzer, Finn. Meanwhile, in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Christian and his sister Madison shared many adventures with their adored labradoodle, Biscuit. The two of them crossed paths in 2017, while Liv was a junior engineering student at Robert Morris University. Christian, transferring in as a sophomore, moved into an off-campus apartment shared with a few friends from high school. Coincidentally—or perhaps by fate—these same high school friends had become Liv's college friends two years prior. After months of consistently just-so-happening to end up beside each other during movie nights, staying awake into the small hours texting, and spending every interaction laughing with each other, things just clicked. Christian expressed his feelings for Liv, and they quickly fell more and more for each other each day. College was marked by date nights at Applebee's, indulging in ice cream at Rita's, and cooking together in Christian's apartment kitchen. Liv realized she was truly invested when she helped Christian make pesto "from scratch" using just a simple dinner knife. Chopping basil leaves and pine nuts one by one, and declaring the final product "delicious" wasn't so much a lie, as it was a testament to their friendship and love. Any meal was the best meal, any time was the best time, as long as they were together. Along the way, they exchanged "I love yous," seasons changed, college graduations passed, yet each day never failed to bring the same joy as those first days. Liv and Christian took the next step in their journey and decided to move in together. Some things changed: Sharing a kitchen meant better cooking supplies, but others stayed the same: still no rolling pin as they used a wine bottle to roll out homemade dough for ravioli. And they never stopped laughing, flirting, and making memories. They were unexpectedly joined by their pretty black cat named Belle who slipped in the door one night after grocery shopping. Not surprisingly to anyone who knows Liv and Christian, Belle quickly became the center of their universe and topic of most conversations. Fast forward two leases and 30 months of dinners shared, in a new apartment with a garage for Christian's endless car projects, and a garden for Liv's tomato plants, an exciting career opportunity sent the three of them on a new adventure in Boston. Here they continued to build both their love and their careers, Christian in private wealth management at Rockefeller Capital Management and Liv as a robotic engineer at Chewy. Christian and Liv are endlessly supporting and inspiring each other to reach new heights. Whether the two are skiing down snowy slopes, experimenting with more recipes (and learning to check the supplies required first), taking Belle for walks in her stroller, or exploring local breweries and wineries - they've cherished every moment of these years. In December 2022, after 5 years together, Christian surprised Liv with a trip to the Stowe Resort in Vermont for a life-changing moment. With shaking hands, tear-filled eyes, and a heart full of love, he knelt down and asked Liv to be his wife, promising to spend the rest of their lives together. Excited FaceTime calls to their parents, siblings, and friends followed, who had all been expecting it, and the wedding planning began! Now, Christian and Liv eagerly await September 7th, the day they'll make it official in front of their closest family and friends! There will be tears, laughter, good food, strong drinks, great music, and some questionable dance moves, and we can't wait to share it all with you!
