The wedding hype train has no brakes :)

They were introduced on a sunny June day by their mutual friend Charlie, who they had known for several years at this point separately. There was an immediate sort of “oh, this person’s really cool and interesting” feeling for both Anthony and Christine, and they got to talking about all sorts of things that day. Among the many topics they covered were cosplay shopping, Christine’s brief fixation on a song called “Chinese Food” whilst eating chinese food (do NOT look this song up it is CRINGE), the nuances of being autistic adults, and more. They exchanged numbers and had a couple more hangouts with Charlie before Anthony asked Christine out on an official date at the Special Edition convention in June of 2015. (Shout out to Anthony’s mom Angela for being really cool about meeting Christine in full anime girl cosplay complete with wig and colored contacts! Already in the running for best mother in law) Anthony took Christine to one of his favorite restaurants and then to Prospect Park before asking her to be his girlfriend, to which Christine happily said yes. Their love story isn’t one of dramatic ups and downs but of straightforward communication, openness, and an immediate recognition that the other person was exceedingly special. It’s been an adventure ever since!
