Bill and Onna both have a love for music and performing. They met while in the Evergreen Chorale's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Bill starred in the show as Seymour and Onna was one of the three "diva" girls. They then learned that they had much more in common such as a love for ski/snowboarding, travel/adventure and being complete goofballs. There is never a shortage of teasing and silliness in their home.

Onna was performing in StageDoor's production of Avenue Q. Unknowingly to Onna, Bill asked many local friends and family to attend the show on this night. As the performance approached Onna grew increasingly aware of the vast amount of people she knew coming but thought it a coincidence as it was the show's closing weekend. After the cast took their bows no one left the stage. Bill came out, professed his love and proposed in front of everyone (including many strangers!). Onna was so excited and surprised she almost forgot to answer! Their friends and family filled the theater with silly string and blew noise makers. We enjoyed a great celebration at the bar afterwards.
