WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Believe it or not - we met online, using the dating service OkCupid! Emily was about to delete the app, and Cory was the last person she messaged back via the app's Quick Match function. From October to February, Cory continued to message Emily until she finally gave in to go watch one of his hockey games at UTC Ice. The initial match was quick, but clearly it was made to last.

We had been looking forward to the summer Gabor family vacation for months on end, which would take place aboard the Norwegian Breakaway en route to Bermuda. In the weeks approaching the trip, our excitement to be surrounded by family could hardly be contained. Little did Emily know, the whole family (and a few others...) had been keeping a HUGE secret, under the guise of a commemorative photoshoot. Cory had planned a beautiful proposal during the sunset photoshoot, which caught Emily completely off-guard. She was quoted as saying, "He won't even buy himself new shoes, he'll never buy an engagement ring!" in good humor. The moment Cory started his speech, confusion, realization, and speechlessness all appeared on Emily's face and resulted in the amazing proposal photo that we have shared with all of our family and friends. Needless to say, love and happiness was abundant during the proposal and it made the trip THAT much sweeter for the two of us.
