Life creates moments for us as humans that we never see coming. Just a little over five years ago, our moment was created. We had known each other for some time, during this time we became very good friends at work. The story has always been told that from the moment Kiah saw me, she knew I would be the one for her. It’s funny to not really know a person and at the same time KNOW she would be the one. During the time of us becoming close friends, Helen would actually leave the postal service and we lost touch with one another. Fate seemingly would reunite us as our manager at the time was in desperate need of a reliable worker and asked Kiah for some suggestions. The first person to come to mind was Helen, but I just knew she was not going to come back. One phone call would change both of our lives forever. We became co workers for a second time but things were certainly different. We both agreed to hang outside of work and that one night has had us locked in like twins since. Our love story is not the what you hear or see in fairytales, it’s our own that we have created together. Through it all we have become close and we have learned a lot together. So as we continue our journey, a lifetime awaits us and our unity will continue to fill us with more love, laughter and joy within each other. Our hearts have become one and we are very grateful to have one another.
