How do I get to Corfu?

Although Aegean Airlines is the main airline that flies from Athens to Corfu, you can also fly with Ryanair, Swissair, British Airways or Lufthansa to the island as well. We recommend Aegean though!

Corfu's General Hospital is located at Kontokali 49100. There are a plethora of clinics, medical offices and pharmacies (marked with a green cross) in case of a medical emergency.

Is Corfu close to Santorini and/or Mykonos?
Answer
Nope! Corfu is located in the Ionian Sea (closer to Italy), while Santorini and Mykonos are Cycladic islands located in the Aegean Sea (closer to Turkey). You will need to fly back to Athens from Corfu in order to fly or take a boat to Santorini, Mykonos or any of the other islands in the Aegean Sea.

So, what's cool to visit near Corfu?

The beautiful islands of Paxos and Antipaxos are a 45 minute boat ride from Corfu and costs approximately 45 Euros. Albania is also a 2 hour boat ride from Corfu. A day trip will cost around 25 Euro.
