Olivia & Emily matched on the infamous online dating app Tinder in November of 2020. Emily was home in Philly visiting family for the holidays and Olivia was home in Chicago. After a few weeks of exchanging texts, it slowly moved into facetime dates every night to watch the show Yellowjackets together. The two planned a date for the day after Emily arrived back in Chicago and they were both anxiously awaiting the day! Lucky for Olivia, Emily texted her as soon as she landed and said "Actually, what if I drop my luggage off at home and come over for dinner?" And the rest is quite literally history. From that first date the two were completely inseparable. They started dating two weeks after that first date officially. The two have since filled their lives with love, cats, and a shared obsession with reality television. The proposals went off without a hitch. Olivia had always thought she would be the first to propose and had a plan in the works for months. That is until one day in March, Emily convinced Olivia that they were going out to celebrate Emily's birthday downtown. When the uber pulled up to a beautiful park, directionally challenged Olivia just thought the Uber had dropped them off in the wrong place. Quickly it became clear that Emily was leading Olivia to a beautiful scene with candles and the skyline behind them and popped the question. Olivia was so happy and so in shock, but had a job to do herself! She texted her mom to bring Emily's ring to their next location so she could do a surprise of her own! Emily & Olivia arrived at Welcome Back Lounge and were greeted by their friends and family who Emily had gathered for a big surprise. Little did she know that she would be getting a surprise of her own! Emily's family had all flown in to celebrate the big day AND got to witness the moment that Olivia proposed to Emily in front of all of their friends and family! It was truly such a special day and one the couple wishes they could relive forever. They cannot wait to celebrate their love all of 2024 & for like ever.
