Ummm do people ask us if we speak their language when they travel to the US? Yes, some people will speak english, but not everyone. Dive into the culture and enjoy it!
Yes...do not ask again. Guadalajara in 2021 is not the Guadalajara in Narcos 1980. Like any major city, there are some areas to avoid. El Cerro de Cuatro of Tlaquepaque and the outskirts of Tonala are not for tourists. The town is split in two by the La Calzada de Independencia, the east side should be avoided at night. Zapopan, the downtown historic district (where the wedding is), the Americana, Providencia, Chapalita, and Puerto de Hierro are all safe and wonderful places to explore.
80 degrees during the day, 50-60 degrees at night. TBD if the wedding will be inside or outside.
There will be a lot of liquor, so plan at your own risk :)
No dress code. Only rule is that you may not out dress the bride or have a better tailored suit than the groom. :)
