Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the West Deck at USF St Pete, just across the street (in walking distance) from the Poynter Institute. Free parking is available at the Poynter Institute. Instruct Uber/Lyft drivers to drop you off at the Poynter Institute or, alternatively, at the corner of 8th Ave S and 3rd St. S. For those interested in a nice walk, the ceremony site is about a 20 minute walk from the Hampton Inn and 25 from the Staybridge. Please plan to arrive at the ceremony location by 4:30pm.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire - nice dresses, jumpsuits, suit and tie, blazers, etc. Bright colored or jewel tone shirts, ties, and dresses encouraged! Please no jeans or shorts.

Are children permitted at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are only able to extend invitations to the children of our close family. If you have any questions about how many seats have been reserved for your party, please contact the bride and groom.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:30pm.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. The ceremony site is a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel, or a 5 minute drive/Uber ride. There is parking available at the reception site, across the street from the ceremony site.

Yes! There is parking at the reception site, which is right across the street from the ceremony site.

What will the weather be like in the area?

Answer

The average temperature in March ranges from a high of 75°F to a low of 61°F. That's 24° and 16° for our metric system users!

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will (hopefully) be outside at the West Deck at USF St Pete, but there is a rain contingency! Feel free to wear sunglasses and don't worry - you won't be sitting outside for too long :)

Will Teddy be in attendance?

Answer

Teddy will be in Florida that week, but he decided doggie daycare was more his speed for the wedding weekend.
