Jordan and I met on a dating app. He had replied to one of my prompts that showcased my profile. On my profile, it said that I would need someone who would ask strangers to take our pictures. He replied, asking if I would take his picture! I will let the readers decide if that was corny haha! We later planned for a date the next week. We had Facetimed prior to meeting and just by that first encounter, I was so excited to see where things went! He was so handsome and charming! We just clicked. I am usually very nervous for first dates but when he picked me up, I just felt calm and collected. Our destination was to Peddler's Village to walk around, have dinner at the Buttonwood Grill, and visit a park that oversees the heart of New Hope--just in time for sunset. The way he treated me throughout the night and his mannerisms showed me he was the person I had been looking for. It was like we already had known each other for a lifetime before and were just old friends catching up. That's why on our second date, we made things official. I had planned this date, to take us in the city to go roller skating at LOVE park and then have water ice. Since my Nonna lived in the city, we went to see her and Jordan got to meet her. I was so glad he had gotten to know her. I showed him her rooftop deck and we sat for a bit. That is where he asked me to be his girlfriend and I happily said yes. Then, he made a corny joke about how his shirt was "boyfriend material". If the reader here can't tell, he's totally a comedian...haha! We have been inseparable since! We have done and been through so much in the time we have been together. We've lived a lot of lives in the time we have been together. Where we started is unbelievably different from now. But one thing remained throughout was having Jordan by my side. I would not have chosen it any other way.
When I met Olivia for the first time, it was like I was cutting an onion. Every time you pull back a layer it reveals something new and it ends up making you cry. In all honesty, meeting Olivia was a blessing in disguise. We met on a dating app called hinge, and I sent her a cheesy pick up line (see her paragraph to see what it was). After that, I took her to Peddlers Village and then a place called Goat Hill overlook. From there on, I knew exactly how I was going to propose to her and that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Talking to her every day wasn’t enough. Even asking her to be my girlfriend wasn’t enough. Truth be told, asking her to marry me is definitely not enough. I cant wait for her to become my wife and go through life together.
