Question

Will everyone be able to bring a plus one?

Answer

Not everyone will be able to bring a plus one. While we wish we could accommodate everyone to have a plus one, our venue does cap the amount of guests we can have. It will be indicated on your envelope if you may bring a plus one. If your envelope says "and guest", you may bring a plus one.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Not everyone can bring their children to the wedding. While we wish all the children could be there, our venue does cap the amount of people, including children. It will be indicated on your envelope whether you may bring your children. If your envelope says, "and family", or your children's names, you may bring them.

Question

What is black tie optional?

Answer

A black-tie optional dress code gives guests a couple of formal options to choose from. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

5pm. The bride will be walking down the isle at approximately 5:30p.m. It takes a few minutes to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony location on the Stan Hywet grounds.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be no transportation from the ceremony to the reception location. There will be a shuttle from the reception to the Blu-tique hotel. Guests staying over night at the hotel should park at the parking garage directly behind the hotel, which can be accessed from High St., and then walk to the reception which is less than two blocks down High St.
