Savannah and Olivia met through the Musical Theatre Society during their sophomore year at Slippery Rock University. They quickly became the best of friends and became roommates during their last two years of undergrad. Olivia could not be more thankful for Savannah's friendship, and she can't wait to have her by her side as she marries her best friend.
Cord McKenna
Best Man
Brody and Cord go way back - November 21, 1996, to be exact - when Brody was born. From everything from growing up together, their journey through music, going to Slippery Rock, and being the Best Man in Cord's wedding, it was only fitting they he stand behind his brother on his big day.
Corin Gubish

Corin made the best decision of her life marrying into the Freed family in May 2022 when she married Olivia's cousin Matt. Corin and Olivia have become such close friends over the years. Corin is also the mama of the most perfect flower girl, Remington Jane! Olivia is so thankful for both of them and is looking forward to having Corin, Remi, and Matt up there when Brody and Olivia say "I Do!"
Nick Bradford

Brody and Nick met during Brody's high school freshmen year when Nick was a senior on the drum line. Nick and Brody then went on to play music together, live together at Slippery Rock, and then still do pretty much everything else together outside of our boring adult jobs.
Kendall Rodriguez

Kendall is Olivia's cousin, and the two grew up doing everything together! Some of their best memories include playing Pretty, Pretty, Princesses and eating macaroni and cheese for every meal. Kendall lives in Texas with her husband and three daughters. Olivia is so thankful and excited to have Kendall by her side on her big day!
Wyatt Mullenax

Wyatt and Brody grew up together as cousins and lived about 4 hours apart. Once he got his license, Wyatt was up in PA a bunch more to visit Ellwood and then Slippery Rock whenever Brody was in school there. One good thing to come out of the COVID pandemic was how much time Brody and Wyatt got to spend gaming online. From that point on they they constantly send funny videos back and forth, still game from time to time, and still visit a few times a year.
Lauren Barlow

Lauren and Olivia met at SRU when Olivia joined the Musical Theatre Society. The two quickly became friends and have performed in countless musicals and cabarets together over the years. Olivia and Brody were both fortunate enough to stand by Lauren and Ryan on their big day last September and are looking forward to having them by their side as they say "I Do!"
Ryan Barlow

Brody and Ryan met as a result of the Musical Theatre Society at SRU. Once Brody joined MTS and met Lauren Barlow, Ryan's wife (shout out Lauren), he would frequently then start to hang out with Ryan and a group of friends on Thursdays after rehearsals. Though the Browns VS. Steelers banter will never cease in their entire lives, Ryan Barlow is a dear friend and a must for Brody's groomsmen party.
Juli Thomas

Juli and Olivia met way back in 2015, shortly after Olivia and Brody met. They clicked immediately and have been friends ever since. They have traveled to many amazing places together from Ocean City, MD to Clemson, SC for Juli's graduation. Olivia couldn't say "I Do" without Juli by her side and is so grateful for her friendship.
Marc Passione

Brody met Marc as a result of him and Juli Thomas beginning their relationship at SRU. Since that time, Brody and Marc have become very close friends. They are always looking forward to spending time together on various trips to South Carolina, summer vacations, or whenever Juli and Marc travel home to see their families. From throwing a football around at the beach and various other fun activities, they are never apart whenever they are in the same area.
Mallory Logue

Mallory and Olivia met... you guessed it... at Slippery Rock University in the Musical Theatre Society! Mallory has been one of Olivia's best friends since her freshman year. They have made so many great memories traveling from the Outer Banks to NYC to visit her and her husband, Ryan. Olivia is so thankful to have Mallory by her side as she marries her best friend.
Ryan Logue

Brody and Ryan met as a result of the Musical Theatre Society at SRU (yes, just like Ryan Barlow). Since meeting Ryan, he and Brody have grown close due to their love of music, the occasional beer(s), and the Pittsburgh STILLERS. Brody was also very honored to be apart of Ryan and Mallory Logue's wedding (shout out Mal) in October of 2022. When Ryan and Mal moved to NYC to pursue their careers after college, they were fortunate to see each a handful of time every year. Since moving back to Pittsburgh, they've been grateful to spend even more time together. Brody is very excited to have Ryan Logue up there with him on his special day.
Claire Weaver

Claire and Olivia are cousins and grew up doing everything together, from playing dress up at each other's houses to going camping in Tionesta at their aunt's cabin. Claire has been one of Olivia's closest friends for as long as she can remember, and Olivia is so excited to have her at the altar on her big day!
Jake Alters

Brody and Jake go way back to high school as they both joined the Stage Crew at Riverside High School their freshmen year for Fiddler on the Roof. They continued to share that time together from Stage Crew to being on stage together as actors later in high school. After high school, whenever Nick graduated from SRU, Jake moved in with Brody in 216 Campus Side to continue the roommate legacy. Jake and Brody have been fortunate to grow up along side each other since high school and college and continue to share hobbies of cars, having the occasional beer(s), when one of them needs an extra hand for heavy lifting or other household/car projects, and every holiday. Jake is basically another family member to the McKenna's.
Mindy Cleary

Mindy and Olivia also met during Olivia's freshman year at SRU in the Musical Theatre Society! They became close friends almost immediately and continue to make memories together, from countless game nights and Bachelor watch parties to Pittsburgh sports games. Olivia is so thankful for Mindy's friendship and can't wait to say "I Do" with her by her side.
Bobby Freed

Brody had the pleasure of meeting Bobby when he was 13 whenever Brody and Olivia first starting dating. Since that day, nearly 9 years ago, Brody has gotten to watch Bobby grow into an incredible man, essentially being the younger brother Brody never had. From those pivotal moments growing up together they've been fortunate to go on camping trips and share many great memories together.
Emma McKenna

Emma is Olivia's sister-in-law and friend from, you guessed it, SRU! Emma and Olivia met doing the Musical Theatre Society and even lived together in North Hall during their sophomore year. Olivia takes full credit for introducing Emma to her now husband, Cord, and was fortunate enough to stand by them when they got married in October 2022. Olivia is thankful to have her sister-in-law next to her when she says, "I Do!"
Patrick Freed

Patrick and Brody met through the Musical Theatre Society at SRU during their Sophomore years for the musical The Wedding Singer. After auditions and casting, they got very close by going to social functions together, going on various trips, and becoming roommates in 505 Campus Side apartments through the conclusion of their 5th year at SRU. Post graduation, they continue to see each very often and share their loves of food debates (mostly sandwiches), playing games, going out in Pittsburgh (or wherever else there's a bar), and going on trips. Patrick and Brody are the best of friends and always look forward to a good time together. Brody is very fortunate to have a friend like Patrick in his life and is very excited to have him be apart of his and Liv's (they're cousins!) special day.
