The countdown ‘til forever is on.

It all started with two "star-crossed lover's". From sharing looks from afar, to small talks at the church softball games, neither of the two ever had the courage to take it further than that as just two nervous kids with elementary school crushes. They had their first conversation at a church group lunch outing and it was just enough to peak some interest between the two. Olivia organized a wiffle ball game for the college aged group in hopes Briant would go and just as she wished, he arrived. Joking and flirting between them were spontaneous and that night was the night they would talk about for the rest of their lives. Olivia asked her brother Caleb to "put in a good word" to Briant at the softball game where they played on the same team. Caleb unfortunately did not find a good moment to pull him aside and have that conversation and Olivia was devastated.... but it didn't end there. Caleb, feeling awful, called Briant and asked if he was single, and gave him his blessing. All the while, they still knew nothing about each other. Weeks went by with no contact, no social media outreach, and even smaller conversation. Olivia thought her chances had been ruined from the forwardness of Calebs act. Little did she know, Briant would soon reach out and her life would begin again. After days of late night talking, they soon went out with a group of friends from church to the movies, followed by a very romantic Waffle House double date. The next week, they went out for the first time together and had an instant connection; so much so they already knew they would be choosing each other for the rest of their lives and within a week, they would call each other boyfriend and girlfriend. May 21st, 2022. As the two of them grew individually, they also learned to grow together. It wouldn't be long before Briant would ask for Olivia's hand in marriage. On November 10th, 2022, Briant took Olivia on the most romantic Gatlinburg getaway. They went sight-seeing, played 'tourist', and visited a place called foothills parkway. The snowcapped mountains made the perfect backdrop for a beautiful and intimate proposal. "As we sit here and write our love story to share with you, we hope that you will share that love with us on our special day. We are firm believers in when you know, you know and we believe God put us in each others lives at exactly the right moment and we wouldn’t be writing this together without Him. We want nothing more than to be surrounded by our friends and our family in the celebration of our future lives together. We can't thank those enough for the support we've been given throughout our relationship and for the support we will continually get through our marriage. We hope that God continues to bless and provide for us as we walk in a relationship as one, according to His will. We look forward to seeing YOU!" - The future Mr. & Mrs. Haley
