Matron of Honor
Alexa is not only my big sister, but my best friend. Ever since I can remember I have always looked up to her. Growing up in her footsteps (unintentionally) has been such an honor. I know I can always come to her for advice, especially because chances are she has already gone through it and survived. Another honor has been holding the name as her mini-me aka "Little-Lex." We always say it jokingly, but I truly look up to her so much. She is the warmest person I know and a light to those around her. She radiates selflessness and strength. I love you Alexa Vlk! - Olivia
Best Man
Thomas is my best friend. We met at a worship event called Carry The Love during our freshman year at Western. We were two of the only three students at the event which meant the event became a very spiritually intimate experience. I believe this set the tone for what our friendship was going to be moving forward. Thomas has been such a tremendous role model and brother in Christ for me, and he has consistently been my main source of support and accountability in my faith. I attribute significant portions of growth in my journey with Christ to Thomas, and that is why I am most grateful for him. On April 20th of 2018 I drafted up a physical friendship covenant based around the passages, Proverbs 27:17 and Philippians 2:3, and had Thomas sign it. I think this shows how much I care about him.

Holly is not only my big sister but she is my biggest cheerleader/my hype man. She pours out her love daily. She never fails to encourage and build me up. Holly is one of my biggest advocates and my best friend. She is always the first to lift me up and to remind me she is proud, even when I don't deserve it. Holly has such a caring heart, and it inspires me daily. I love you Holly Spilman! - Olivia
Groomsman
Elijah and I's friendship really began back in our senior year of high school when we decided to drive down together to Seaside, Oregon for our spring break trip. While our other friends were going on an fabulously lavish trip down to Palm Springs, Elijah and I decided that we were going to have our own fun. Of course what I hadn't realized was that the place my family and I visited every summer and loved, did not have the same glory in March. We made the most of that week despite the cold, rainy, and dreary weather and grew a lot closer. Since then, our friendship has deepened and become one of my most important support systems. Elijah and I connect over shared struggles and experiences in all areas of life, and I've been so blessed to have him through the ups and downs.

WHERE DO I BEGIN! Mikaelah has been my friend since middle school. She has seen me during many of my low moments and through many of my awkward phases. She has always been so patient, loving, and accepting towards me. When it came to developing my own relationship with Jesus, Mikaelah planted many seeds and has been a constant encourager. If there is any friend out there who truly understands me, it is Mikaelah Snoap! She even laughs at all my jokes! I love you sister! - Olivia

Jordan and I have the longest running friendship out of all my groomsmen. We first met playing soccer together on the elite U12 Guildford Dragons. Jordan was the fast, clinical striker and I was the defender that could kick the ball far. We talked very little back then as Jordan used to be shy, but I got to know him a lot better once I joined him at our high school. Our friendship has become stronger the older we've got, and moreover, Jordan and Elijah are longtime best friends allowing us to have a "three amigos" type of relationship. Jordan and I are very similar people in all areas of our lives except for maybe one, I am certainly the more emotionally open of the two of us, and as much as I know he'll hate it, I'm going to make a point of saying, I LOVE YOU JORDAN AND I APPRECIATE YOU!

ALLYSON CHAMPAGNE, Allyson joined WMU's cheer team fall semester of 2016 and it was only the first month when I walked up to her and asked her to be my roommate. We have not only been teammates and roommates but we are also classmates in the nursing program and Allyson has undoubtedly been one of my best friends. She is someone I look up to and respect so much. She is also hands down, the FUNNIEST person I know and the life of the party. Allyson has seen me throughout many of my college lows and she has never failed to stick by my side and support me always. I love you Allyson Champagne - Olivia

Caden captains Western's soccer team with me and I currently live with him. I can confidently say that besides our faith and soccer, Caden and I are very dissimilar, but I believe that we compliment each other very well. Caden is extremely humble, kind and responsible and has been a tremendous help to me not only in leading our team, but also in life. He has been my main accountability partner in battling my addiction, he has been such an amazing partner in the bible studies we've hosted and lead, and he has been a radical servant to an extremely needy international student such as myself. Caden is one of the very few teammates I've had where I can confidently say the friendship goes beyond soccer. I'm so excited to support him and his wonderful Fiance Kailyn as they move forward in life.

Wow God really placed Chase in my life with such a great purpose. I first met Chase through WMU cheer. I was new in my pursuit of Jesus and I was ashamed of how little knowledge I had on the Gospel. Chase was the first person to invite me to church. Little did we know we were both going through the same struggles and we were both pretty new in pursuing Jesus. We have gone through many of the same hardships around the same time and I can honestly say throughout it all Chase's heart is BEAUTIFUL. She has such great faith. In every battle Chase always brings the light of the Lord to the surface. She is one God fearing woman who I am so blessed to have by my side. Her faith and her servant heart amaze me. I love you Chase Currier! - Olivia
Groomsman
Tommy is BY FAR the oldest member of my groomsmen and I like to make sure he remembers that! I met Tommy through our team bible study, and he was a tremendous support to me upon my transfer to Western. He was always willing to lend an ear to me in my struggles, and was humble enough to allow me, a significantly younger and less wise underclassman, to listen and support him in the challenges he faced. Tommy and I have had some great experiences together and although we live far apart and don't do a great job of keeping regular contact, our friendship is one where we when can pick up right where we left off and get right into the most important parts of life, and that's why I'm so grateful for him.

Sweet Maggie! The best way I can describe Maggie is, my 3:00am friend. Brendan talked to me about this idea, he describes it as a person you can call in the middle of the night/morning. A friend you know will be there for you without any hesitation or judgement. Maggie is my 3:00am friend, she has always been by my side in times of celebration and in times of suffering. She never fails to support me and encourage my walk with Christ. She is extremely understanding and has a heart so full of genuine love and grace. I am so incredibly blessed with Maggie as one of my closest friends. I love you Maggie Drew! - Olivia
Groomsman
Eric was one of the freshman that I made an effort to try and take under my wing during my sophomore year. Despite coming out of the Portland Timbers, I felt a special connection to him as a west coast counterpart now in the Midwest. On top of that, we quickly bonded over our faith and in 2019 we shared a room together in the Solid Grounds Ministry house. Eric is one of the most fun-loving, passionate, and caring people I know, and he was always there to listen and support me in whatever challenges I was facing. I was very sad when he left Western for Pacific, but I'm overjoyed at the success that he has had in California with soccer as well as igniting and leading fellow Christian athletes. I am so excited to be reunited at the wedding and support him in friendship for years to come.

Mattie and I met through WMU cheer team. We spent many hours together in the gym, traveling together, and serving the Lord together. I LOVE Mattie Nall. She is someone I know I can lean on and run to without any judgement. She listens to me, acknowledges me, and builds me up. But don't let her sympathetic heart fool you, she is also the LIFE OF THE PARTY! Seriously, you should see her break it down on the dance floor. This girl has the moves, you'll see come June! Her and Allyson together will make you laugh so hard you stomach hurts. Goodness I miss this sweet girl. Mattie has recently moved to Florida. Distance has done nothing but make me realize how much I value and cherish our friendship. I miss and love you so much Mattie Nall! - Olivia

I met Jake at Western's Fellowship of Christian Athletes two years ago, however it took us until this year, for us to become close friends. It was through a men's group that we both participated in that I realized Jake was someone that I needed to become closer friends with. I was amazed by Jake's emotional intelligence, wisdom and Holy Spirit lead nature, and I was absolutely astounded when I learned he was in ACCOUNTING! Jake has served as one of my essential accountability partners in my faith and struggles, and from that we have begun building a very intentional friendship. Although it is early in our relationship, I have no doubt that Jake is someone that I want in Olivia and I's life moving forward, and we want to be there to support him in whatever direction the Lord takes him.
