Matron of Honor
To give you a picture of Emiley and I's friendship I will start with this fun fact. Emily and I had an online talk show called Jess and Em speaks in college. We thought we were pretty cool. Emiley is one of my nearest and dearest friends. She makes me laugh, challenges me, always helps me pick out my next mani/pedi color and most importantly she points me back to the Lord over and over again. We met at Lindenwood University and have been friends for 10+ years.
Matron of Honor
I met Shannon while working at Colorado Christian University. She was hired as my graduate assistant so I was her boss for awhile. She was a student in the Master of Arts in Counseling program which was the program I had recently graduated from. We instantly connected. Shannon is my counselor friend. She understands me in a way many others do not. We have been friends for 5+ years. She is a forever friend and I am so thankful she has accepted the title of Matron of Honor.
Bridesmaid
Megan was one of the first friends that I made in college. We both went to Lindenwood University and have been friends for nearly 15 years! In a lot of ways Megan and I grew up together not only as we ventured into adulthood but also as we chased after the Lord together. I stood by her as she married her best friend and I am honored that she will now stand by me as I marry mine.
Bridesmaid
Kathryn and I met about 6 years ago at Colorado Christian University. We worked together in an office of about 6 people and often got ourselves in trouble for socializing too much. She was one of my first genuine friends that I made after moving to Colorado. Her sense of humor, love for people and zeal for the Lord is what makes her one of my best girl friends!
Bridesmaid
I met Carrie my freshmen year of College which means we have been friends for nearly 15 years! We worked together on campus and I decided to invite her to a Campus Crusade weekend getaway because she was wearing a Jesus shirt. I am so thankful I listened to that nudge because my life would not be the same without this girl in it. She has a way of always knowing when I need encouragement even from miles away. I was in her wedding a few years ago and I am so excited she said yes to being in my wedding!
Bridesmaid
The Lord brought Tessa into my life at just the right time. One of my really good friends had just moved away and it was right about then when God introduced me to Tessa. First she was my personal trainer but soon after she became a dear friend. Both 9's on the enneagram, Tessa and I were cut from the same cloth. A few years after becoming friends, Tessa started working at Colorado Christian University with me. I will forever be thankful for those years because it was during those times the Lord really created a bond in us that will forever be.
Bridesmaid
Lacey and I work together at Colorado Christian University and have been friends now for 3+ years. In just a short time the Lord really connected Lacey and she is now one of my best friends. Lacey is the best listener and is always there to make you laugh, talk through the hard things with and to pray with and for you. She and her husband have become close friends to Ollie and I. Their story and their faith in the Lord has been a gift to us in ways they probably don't even know. I am thrilled that Lacey will be with me as I marry my best friend!
Best Man
Ian and I have one of those relationships that began with Craigslist. No joke. We decided to be roommates and he succeeded in surviving with my dad jokes. With a shared passion for the Lord, motorcycles, and Latin music it didn't take long for a strong friendship to develop. Summers together leading a church small group and riding our motorcycle and scooter will never be forgotten. Reducing my motorcycle speed to 45 to stay alongside his scooter is a great metaphor for our relationship. Ian has been a source of support, accountability and has championed as an encourager in my life. He is a man of conviction and faith, someone I can always count on to be there in a time of need. I am proud to call him a brother.
Groomsman
Cameron was the first friend I made in America. His selfless and dependable approach to people makes him one of my best friends. He has been a steadfast reliable supporter and someone who is always cheering in my corner. Cameron and I have cried and laughed together over some of the hardest and best things in life. He, and his family, have truly taken me under their wings. Not only do they invite me over for holidays every year, they have given me their furniture, and even helped me carry it up three flights of stairs. Cameron’s faith, honesty, sense of humor, and musical talent make him one of my closest friends and real brother.
Groomsman
Sam is my oldest cousin, and has always represented a voice of reason and sound judgement in my life. I have had the privilege of watching him grow a family and grow in his faith as a Church leader. Due to COVID related concerns, Sam will unfortunately be unable to attend.
Groomsman
Jake is another of my cousins. As children we would get into trouble together (or, rather I would get him into trouble). As children who fought with sticks, Jake was always on my ‘team’ and in many ways he has continued to be that companion.
Groomsman
Toby is one of my younger cousins, whom I’ve known all his life. As a man after Gods heart, he is a natural encourager and will not fail to bring you joy and laughter.
