Our wedding will be black-tie preferred. We'll be getting all dressed up so we want you to get fancy with us! Tuxedos, dark colored suits and formal gowns in either full or midi length are suggested. Ladies, don't shy away from color! We just ask that you opt for colors not traditionally worn by the bride. Please refrain from wearing white, ivory, champagne or light blush tones.
If your partner is invited, they will be listed on the invitation by name. If you were invited with a guest, your invitation will read "and guest." Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
As much as we love your kids, our wedding will be an adult only affair.
Our ceremony will be partially unplugged. You will have a brief moment at the start of the ceremony to snap a quick photo, but after that time we ask that you kindly put your devices away. We hope you will respect and honor this request and join us in being fully present as we exchange our vows and start our lives together. We are overjoyed to have you with us and are eager to look out into the crowd and see all your loving and supportive faces looking back at us. We have hired incredible photographers and videographers to capture our day and will be happy to share photos with you after the wedding.
Yes, all wedding day festivities will be taking place at Bourne Mansion.
Yes, a shuttle will be provided. The shuttle will be leaving the Hyatt Regency Long Island at 4:30pm in order to deliver guests to the venue for the ceremony. The shuttle will also be available to deliver guests back to the hotel at the end of the reception.
Yes, valet parking will be provided.
The shuttle will leave the hotel for the venue at 4:30pm in order to deliver our guests to the venue for the start of our ceremony. If you are traveling separately, we ask that you arrive to the venue between 5-5:15pm as our ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm.
Weather permitting, our ceremony will be taking place outdoors. Cocktail hour will be a mixture of indoor and outdoor spaces and reception will be taking place inside the grand ballroom. Guests are welcome to roam around the mansion grounds, they really are spectacular!
