With the health and safety of our guests in mind, we will continue to monitor state and local guidelines that may impact our wedding. Please monitor this page periodically for updates. Weather-pending, the ceremony will be outside. Due to capacity restrictions at the ceremony site, we have limited the number of attendees. Please see the RSVP section for the events we invite you to join. We kindly request that you only attend the events noted under your RSVP. The reception is in a large warehouse. We have limited the number of guests for dinner to 25% of the room's capacity. Tables will be spaced at more than 6 feet apart, and there is a place in the RSVP section to indicate who you are comfortable being seated with. We ask that all guests wear masks when not seated at their table. We invite you to join in on our celebration in whatever way you are most comfortable.
Tinder, of course. The St. Louis Cardinals were in the playoffs and I showed up to our first date in a Michael Wacha t-shirt. I'm surprised I made it past the front door. Luckily for both of us, we met at the end of baseball season and had a few peaceful months that we spent getting to know each other and falling in love.
On Christmas Eve during our 3rd annual trip to Isla Mujeres for the holidays, Luke limited the number of margaritas he drank during our beach day and asked me to go for a walk at sunset. In order for Luke to get me to look away while he got down on one knee, he told me there was a cat running along the beach (I believed him, of course). I was too busy crying to remember much of what was said but I said "yes" as a Mexican family clapped in the background. We drank at least 3 bottles of champagne to celebrate.
