In our first few months of dating, we traveled the United States together for 46 days. One of the best stops was Custer State Park, in South Dakota. We climbed the Black Hill mountains to see the view of the cathedral spires. This is where we shared our first "I love you." Fast forward to four years later, we set out on our second cross country road trip. We made sure to stop in South Dakota and climb the same mountain. When we got to the top, the sun was beaming and we were the only ones around. Ryan got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. The perfect day.
