We are recommending this hotel to all of our guests as we will have free shuttles picking up and dropping off from this hotel for our wedding at the Seymour Center. We will have free shuttles running from the Seymour Marine Discovery Center to the Courtyard by Marriott in Santa Cruz (see above). We highly recommend staying at this hotel or somewhere close by to take advantage of the shuttle and our open bar! If you plan to take the shuttle, please plan to be outside the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott at 3:15pm and look for the white 15 passenger vans. It may take a couple trips to get everyone to the venue, so if you don't see a shuttle immediately upon your arrival, don't fret, one will be back soon to get you. Shuttles will then be available to return you to the hotel on demand starting at 8pm through the remainder of the night.

The Bay Area has lots of airport options, but San Jose is the closest to Santa Cruz and about 40 minutes to 1 hour away.

This is the next closest airport after San Jose Airport, and about 1 hour to 1.5 hours away.

Uber or Lyft
Another great option to and from the wedding is Uber or Lyft. Downtown Santa Cruz to the venue is ~15 minutes and about $20 one way. However, there might be limited Ubers/Lyfts on Sunday night after the wedding and so we recommend taking the free shuttle (see above).

Rental Car
We recommend renting a car to get to and from the airport and Santa Cruz, or pre-arranging for a shuttle or Uber/Lyft option. Santa Cruz is fairly small, and it's pretty easy to walk around or get an Uber/Lyft once you are there.

There are plenty of Airbnb's in the Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Capitola area that are very budget-friendly! We recommend looking into this as an option.
