If you have yet to visit a castle, now is your chance! Castello di Amorosa is a castle and a winery located near Calistoga, California. First opening its doors to the public in April 2007, the castle is the pet project of 4th generation vintner, Dario Sattui, who also owns and operates the V. Sattui Winery named after his great-grandfather who originally established a winery in San Francisco in 1885 after emigrating from Italy to California. Check their website for tour hours. Robert Mondavi established his namesake winery in 1966 with a vision to create Napa Valley wines that would stand in the company of the world's finest. He chose To Kalon Vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley as the home for Robert Mondavi Winery. This first-growth vineyard, located in Oakville, California, is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the world, as well as for its Sauvignon Blanc grapes, from which Mr. Mondavi crafted his signature wine, Fumé Blanc.
If you like bubbly wine, Chandon is a beautiful winery to visit. A true California sparkling wine pioneer, Chandon was founded in 1973 by Moet & Chandon. Every bottle of sparkling wine expresses French heritage and innovative American spirit.
Fun to visit, buy some snacks and have a picnic outside! V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.
Originating in Southern California, Stone Brewing is known for really great beers. The brewery is in a gorgeous stone building that sits along the Napa river and is a great spot to grab a beer and enjoy the views of the downtown Napa. They also serve good food!
Great place to grab lunch from any one of the many eateries and have a beer from Fieldworks brewing. You can pick up some souvenir spices here as well!
Great place to grab brunch or lunch. They have a ton of wine themed souvenirs for purchase in their store. After eating, walk a couple doors down to Sweetie Pies bakery to try a pastry, coffee, or dessert.
