What does black tie optional mean?

Answer

Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or dark suit & tie. Women are encouraged to wear formal, floor or tea-length dresses.

Will there be a welcome event on Thursday?

We will be celebrating at the Apparatus Room located in the Foundation Hotel following our rehearsal dinner around 9:00pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join! This is a non-hosted event.

Will there be an afterparty?

Answer

Yes! We will be returning to the Apparatus Room located in the Foundation Hotel following the reception if you wish to continue the festivities! This is a non-hosted event.

Are children allowed?

Please arrange for a babysitter on our special day!

How far is the reception venue from the church?

Answer

The War Memorial is about 20 minutes away from our ceremony church.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception venues have parking lots.

Can we leave a car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, you can leave a car overnight at the reception venue. If you do so, please plan to pickup your car by 10am the following morning.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET AROUND IF I DO NOT WANT TO DRIVE?

Answer

We suggest utilizing ride share apps such as Uber or Lyft to get you to and from our venues!
