Little did they know that an outing with their friends on New Year's Eve would turn into a night that they would never forget. Annie and Nicholas met a little after midnight on New Year's Eve thanks to a little game called "Have You Met Tittor?", a helpful wingman and some 5" heels that made Nicholas think he was meeting someone who was "pretty tall". They spent the evening chatting about life and bonding over the fact that they both live in DFW. It was practically fate. Once the holiday break ended and Annie's journey to swear off dating for a year began, Nicholas asked Annie on a proper date to Billy Bobs. After much thought, Annie decided he was worth delaying her "No-Dating" journey and accepted his offer. They enjoyed the night dancing, people-watching, and finding out they had more in common than just living in DFW. A few months later, they fell in love and welcomed a sweet furbaby into their home, Harper Rae. On their 4-year anniversary at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth, Nicholas popped the question and they decided to spend forever together. They cannot wait to celebrate their marriage on December 30th with all of their friends and family on their *almost* 5-year anniversary of meeting.
