Question

What if it rains?

Answer

If it is raining, we'll move the ceremony to where the reception will be, Brick Landing Plantation at 6:00pm. If it's just cloudy, we'll be at the original location near Ocean Isle Beach pier. If it's questionable, check this website as we'll update it for everyone.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Standard wedding attire requested but join us in going barefoot on the beach during the ceremony. Shoes are required at the Brick Landing Plantation reception...but flip flops or fancy shoes...you're choice!

Question

How long is the beach ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be approximately 20-25 minutes long. We will have some chairs set up for those that need them. We will have ushers to help with seating.

Question

Will there be food at the wedding?

Answer

Of course! We'll have some appetizers to enjoy after the beach ceremony while waiting on the wedding party to arrive after pictures. Then we'll have some true Southern fare...BBQ and all the fixins'. And cake, who could forget cake? We'll be putting a twist on tradition and offer a cake table with a variety of cakes. Think Death by Chocolate, Dream, Gourmet Carrot, Oreo, and Red Velvet!

Question

What about alcohol?

Answer

We'll have an open bar starting around 6:30pm at Brick Landing Plantation. Various beer and wine is on us- enjoy! If you're set on a liquor drink though, we'll have a cash bar option.

Question

Will there be music at the reception?

Answer

Oh yeah. We've got a local DJ from Four Star Entertainment, Steve Perkins, who's going to get the party started! Feel free to make song requests.
