Palm Spring International Airport (PSP) is right next to downtown Palm Springs, and is very easy to get in and out of/to and from. In the "Travel" section, we've listed all the direct flights we could find from the places our guests live. There are loads of options from other east coast cities but you'll stop once on the way, so which one you should choose just depends which midwest city you'd like to see from the air as you land and then take off again.
Unfortunately, the venue for our ceremony and reception doesn't allow children of any age – not because they don't love kids – it's just that it is located on a mountain and they could fall and hurt themselves rolling down the mountainside (and let's be real, they would find a way). However, we would love for them to attend all other events throughout the week. If you would like help finding child care while you're at the ceremony/reception, please get in touch with us!
There are many, MANY hotels/airBnBs/etc within a walking distance of our venue. Palm Springs has big hotels and cute little boutique hotels for every vibe. The wedding is in Downtown Palm Springs, and the pool party/games day is in a nearby neighborhood called the Movie Colony.
Who are we to dictate when you should enact your ill-conceived and unwelcome grand gesture? We trust that you'll know when the moment is right.
For the ceremony & reception: Summer wedding attire. Palm Springs is in the desert so it will be hot during the ceremony (~90F), and will cool down considerably by dinner (~70F). For the pool party/games day: It's a pool party and games day! Also in the summer in the desert! Clothing is casual, and if you would like to do the traditional cannonball with the bride and groom, bring a swimsuit!
