We first met through our parents—an arrangement as classic as it sounds. From the very first conversation, we clicked, bonding over the shared chaos of grad school life in the US. It was like we’d discovered an instant connection, one that felt cozy and familiar! Our first in-person meeting was at the airport arrivals terminal. Nervous excitement filled the air, but when we locked eyes, it was like the universe gave us a thumbs up! Over the next year, we experienced long-distance love, filled with countless video calls, virtual movie nights, and occasional timezone mix-ups. Despite the miles, we found ways to share laughter and dreams, becoming experts at creating cozy moments from afar. Now, we’re finally closing the distance and saying “I do” in person.
